​Silver Star Search and Rescue is an all volunteer organization with no paid staff. We are completely supported by donations. Silver Star SAR is an IRS 501(c)(3),not-for-profit charitable organization. The team is supported entirely by public grants and donations and receives no tax funding.

Newsletter

Silver Star has been fortunate to receive grants for special projects and SAR equipment. However, our annual operating expenses are funded completely by cash donations from the general public. We have a small number of individuals and businesses who donate to us annually. Our newsletter is sent out annually to these supporters to keep them informed of our goals, accomplishments and activities.
